Gods will is NOT a 'TIGHT ROPE' but a 'GREEN PASTURE'. Let God transform you into a new person in changing the way you think. Then you will know what God wants you to do, and you will know how good, pleasing and perfect His will really is! (Rom 12:2) This is not just a good idea, but as you start to step into your God-given inherritance and actually see and hear Him, you encounter the One who loves you unconditionally and guides you with confidence.

It is in our minds that most of the battle rages. Thoughts are things and our thoughts become words. Words are either containers of life or death. David prays in Psalm 19:14 "let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, oh Lord my Rock and my Redeemer. Paul talks about having our minds renewed, and Peter tells us to gird up the loins of our minds! (1 Pet 1:13) The 'loins' is symbolic for our reproductive organs. Our minds is exactly like that. Proverbs says:"As a man thinketh so is he" We produce what we think! This is where we co-labor with Christ. This is where His dreams are projected on our minds and where we speak into being what we see! So what do you see?

November 7th-23rd

We are home again and look back to an awesome tour through Europe. It was a 'BLAST'. So many were touched, changed and encouraged by what the Holy Spirit did through the seminars and concerts. Truly something is shifting in Europe! The people we met were hungry and thirsty for more of God! Anne-marie and I will go back on another tour without the band this time on November the 7th and will do a conference in Mainz, then minister in Kroatie and do a church seminar in Schonebeck, Germany. After that we will be teaching at a DTS in Medicin Hat.

but the prodigal is on his way back home’! I spoke this word out many years ago during one of our conferences in the Netherlands. Many years have passed and one could wonder how long the road is ‘back home’. The lord started to speak to me about some of the principles that we might have overlooked when prophecies like these are given. One of those principles is that the return of the prodigal is not so much up to God as it is up to us! You see often times we wait for something to happen outside of us that will bring the solution to all of our problems. But the Kingdom works differently! It is a combination of both God and you, the believer! As a matter of fact all that is needed is already in you because of Christ. And you are part of what God is doing in your world.

This is not just a nice wish, but reality! Anne-Marie and I have noticed such a hunger and thirst in the places we have just visited. Places like Kroatie, Zagreb, where especially amongst a group of young people the Holy Spirit moved so powerfully a few years ago and as a result many came to Christ. Now they are involved in working amongst the down and out, believing and working towards the Good News penetrating the city in all areas.

Look at this powerful verse and continue to read for more life-changing insight! "He did not weaken in faith when he considered the UTTER impotence of his own body, which was as good as dead because he was about 100 years old, or when he considered the barrenness of Sarah's deadened womb. No unbelief or distrust made him waver or doubtingly question concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong and was EMPOWERED BY FAITH' as he gave PRAISE AND GLORY TO GOD'. (Rom 4:19-20 ANT)

Recently, I spent an afternoon serving coffee and cake at Mission Possible, a drop-in centre for the homeless in East Vancouver. I took the enjoyable role of delivering goodies to the table where those with disabilities sat eagerly waiting. On handing what I regarded as an unspectacular angel-food square to one senior visitor, he threw his hands in the air and shouted joyfully to the heavens, “The Lord saves his best for his servants!” His face glowed with gratitude through bright eyes set in deeply wrinkled skin and framed in a beautiful white beard. I took this as an invitation.

God is not the author of our tragedies, illnesses, quarrels and battles -- often it isn't Satan either. For example, when we say that the devil is really attacking our families right now, what is ACTUALLY going on? Probably we're just not being kind and patient with one another, right? Is that Satan? Or is it my own stubbornness? When we say the enemy is attacking my health, is it a spirit of infirmity, or should I eat less deep-fried fast food and go for more walks?
